Timothy Eck
Director of Music Ministries
Timothy J. Eck has been conducting choirs for over 35 years – festival choirs, honor choirs, community choirs, and church choirs. Tim has previously served as interim/guest conductor of the Voices of Canton in Canton; Worship Arts Coordinator and Director of Chancel Music at Faith United Methodist Church in North Canton, Ohio. He also served as Director of Music and Office Manager at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania prior to moving to Ohio.
Tim received his Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education and Vocal Studies from Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pennsylvania. He received his Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from Penn State University where he was fortunate to study with Lynn Drafall, Anthony Leach, Stephen Zopfi, and D. Douglas Miller. While at Penn State, Tim conducted the Penn State Chamber Singers and the all-male ensemble Hi-Lo’s.
Tim was previously the Director of Choral Music at Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Pennsylvania for 22 years. While there he conducted 7 choirs, taught musical elective courses, and directed the Spring Musical.
Tim’s choirs have been featured at the Pennsylvania Music Educators Annual In-service Conference, State Board of Education Events, and have appeared in concert with Kenny Rogers and Bob McGrath.
Tim has served as guest conductor for high school choral festivals, invitational festivals, and has been a choral clinician, adjudicator, and panelist.
Tim is the father of Jeremy, a Leadership in Healthcare major at Mount Aloysius College and member of the college’s baseball team. Tim resides in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
